KUALA LUMPUR:
Hospital Canselor Tuanku Muhriz (HCTM) Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia has clarified that the Covid-19 cases involving its operating theatre are under control.

The hospital said all its staff, especially healthcare personnel, abide by the SOPs set by the health ministry, whether at the workplace or elsewhere.

“HCTM is very concerned over the increase in Covid-19 cases involving these healthcare personnel and will always monitor such developments,” it said in a statement.

A message had gone viral on social media claiming that the Covid-19 infections involving the operating theatre had occurred because of non-adherence to SOPs, especially regarding the wearing of personal protective equipment.
