PUTRAJAYA:
The government has issued guidelines on hybrid operations of government offices involving attendance at the office and work-from-home procedures in states entering Phase Two of the National Recovery Plan tomorrow.

Chief secretary to the government Mohd Zuki Ali said the hybrid operations would see a 40% attendance at the office, not including frontline services, with the remaining 60% working from home, on a rotation basis.

“All meetings and discussions are to be conducted online through a safe medium with guaranteed confidentiality,” he said in a statement today.

Senior minister for security Ismail Sabri Yaakob announced yesterday the transition to Phase Two for Perlis, Kelantan, Perak, Pahang and Terengganu. This was based on the threshold values achieved by these states.

Zuki said those at the office must have official IDs and a work pass, and comply with pandemic SOPs set by the National Security Council and the health ministry.
