PETALING JAYA:
The government said that they will open up service counters in various agencies and departments beginning from July 1.

Chief secretary to the government Mohd Zuki Ali said that the service counters that will be opening next month only covered services that could not be done online.

“The staff capacity is capped at 50%. So, those who need services through counters need to make an appointment beforehand,” he said in a statement.

Zuki added the decision to open up service counters during the first phase of the National Recovery Plan was made after the government received requests from the public.

He said only service counters for departments such as health, immigration, police and customs are currently operating.
