
This is according to data shared by health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah on Facebook this morning.
The last time Malaysia’s R0 reached 1.0 was on June 5. It has remained below 1.0 in the last three weeks, but started rising again on June 12.
Five states recorded an R0 above the national average, with Melaka topping the list at 1.10.
This was followed by Perak (1.08), Negeri Sembilan (1.07), Pahang (1.04) and Selangor (1.02).
States that fell below the national average were Kuala Lumpur (0.99), Sarawak (0.95), Kedah (0.94), Perlis (0.94), Labuan (0.92), Johor (0.91), Putrajaya (0.90), Sabah (0.89), Penang (0.84), Kelantan (0.80) and Terengganu (0.65).
