PETALING JAYA:
Jaguar Land Rover Malaysia (JLRM) has attributed its win in the 2020/21 Jaguar Land Rover Retailer Awards recently to the efforts and performance of its employees.

The company last week earned the title of Retailer of the Year for its service and dedication to customers.

Although JLRM recently moved into its new facility at the Sime Darby Motors City complex, which has improved processes and helped enhance services, the company said the win was possible solely due to the efforts of the staff.

This is the second time that JLRM has won the award, the first being in 2016/2017.

The Jaguar Land Rover Retailer of the Year award measures all aspects of each outlet’s performance, including marketing, sales and customer service, staff training and retailer presentation to ensure it stands out from other retailers.

“We want to applaud the efforts of all our employees, particularly those from marketing, sales and customer service, who strived to put their best foot forward during this challenging market situation to drive the business.

“Thanks to the effective teamwork from all three departments, they have set a new benchmark that will be a tough act to follow, although I am confident that they will continue to excel,” said JLRM managing director Syed Ahmad Muzri Syed Faiz.

The retailer challenge, which started on April 1 last year and ended on March 30, acknowledged the synergy among three Malaysian entities – Jaguar Land Rover (Malaysia), Sisma Auto dealerships and Sime Darby Auto Connexion – in coming out tops in this regional award.

Sisma Auto dealerships came in as runner-up for the award.
