
Sentul district police chief Beh Eng Lai said the police had been made aware of three videos posted on Facebook that showed the fight in progress.
In the clips, a group of workers was seen shouting and shoving one another.
He said the police arrived at the scene shortly after receiving information about the fight, which occurred at 4.30pm yesterday.
“However, by the time the police arrived at the scene, the fight had ended.
Beh added that police found that no weapons had been used during the altercation.
He said an investigation paper was opened under Section 160 of the Penal Code for rioting in public places and Regulation 16 (1) of the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases (Measures Within Infected Local Areas) Regulations 2021.
“Those involved have already been identified and will be called in to assist in the investigation.”
