
In a statement, LTAT chairman Gen (Rtd) Mohd Zahidi Zainuddin said Ahmad Nazim has broad experience in corporate and financial sectors in major financial centres around the world.
“In his role, Ahmad Nazim will lead the transformation initiatives and steer LTAT towards a sustainable and competitive retirement fund for its stakeholders.
“We welcome him on board and look forward to his leadership of LTAT, and we are confident that his broad experience will bring fresh perspectives to LTAT and ensure a successful execution of its transformation,” he said.
Ahmad Nazim takes over from Amrin Awaluddin who stepped down on April 30 to serve as the new group managing director and chief executive officer of Lembaga Tabung Haji.
He has 20 years of professional experience in the areas of corporate management, corporate finance and investment. Prior to joining LTAT, he was based in Singapore and the United Arab Emirates as managing director for Southeast Asia of Allied Investment Partners, an investment and advisory firm.
