In a statement, the Limkokwing University of Creative Technology thanked the public for their concern, and provided an update on Lim’s current condition.
The statement came in the wake of rumours about him, linking him to Covid-19.
“(Lim) was hospitalised following a fall at his house. We are pleased to inform that his condition is stable and kindly request that he be given complete privacy so he can focus on his recovery.
“Once again, we are grateful and fully appreciate everyone’s interest in his well-being.”
After starting his career as a cartoonist, he moved into advertising where he founded Wings Creative Consultants.
In 1991, he established the first Limkokwing Institute of Creative Technology, and has since opened branches across Asia, Europe and Africa.
