
The man, 21, was arrested at 7pm and checks showed that he had been charged and convicted of a similar offence in 2018, Kuala Lumpur Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department chief Zulkefly Yahya said.
His licence was also suspended for two years.
Zulkefly said the man was being investigated for reckless and dangerous driving and his motorcycle had been seized.
He said police were tracing the individual who recorded the video for abetment.
Meanwhile, Subang Jaya district police chief Abd Khalid said police would investigate a complaint by a restaurant manager that an employee was wrongly accused of violating SOPs on Sunday afternoon.
In a statement that also went viral on social media, the restaurant manager complained that police had issued a compound notice against the foreign worker, who was not in uniform and eating at the restaurant, because they thought he was a customer.
