Kajang district police chief Mohd Zaid Hassan said the six, aged between 24 and 54, were arrested after a video of the incident, believed to have occurred near a shop, went viral on social media.

The 90-second recording showed the victim being surrounded and attacked by a group of men on the sidewalk.

One of the suspects was released on bail as he is the shop owner. The others were remanded for a day.
