
In a statement, he said five of them were workplace clusters, three were community clusters, while the remaining two were linked to a detention centre and a religious activity, respectively.
Two clusters each were detected in Selangor, Kelantan and Johor, while one cluster each was detected in Sarawak, Sabah, Terengganu and Kedah.

Clusters that recorded the most cases today were Tembok Sri Aman (128), Jalan Pelabuhan (50), and Jalan Mega Industri (20).
The new clusters are:
Selangor
- Integrasi Rawang Tiga – a workplace cluster in Gombak. The first few cases were detected on April 5 after a targeted screening of workers of a construction company at the Rawang Integrated Industrial Park. Of the 18 people screened, 13 tested positive.
- Jalan Badli Shah – a workplace cluster involving Petaling, Klang, and Hulu Langat. The index case was detected on March 27 after a screening of symptomatic individuals. This cluster involves an administrative centre in Shah Alam. Some 244 people have been screened, of which 21 tested positive.
Kelantan
- Jalan Kota Kubang Labu – a workplace cluster involving Kota Bharu and Bachok. The index case was detected on March 30 after a screening of symptomatic individuals. This cluster involves a services company in Tumpat. Of the 318 people screened, 26 tested positive.
- Kampung Palekbang – a community cluster in Tumpat. The index case was detected on March 31 after a screening of symptomatic individuals. Some 42 people have been screened, of which 28 tested positive.
Johor
- Jalan Mega Industri – a workplace cluster in Johor Bahru. The first few cases were detected on April 5 after a targeted screening of factory workers in Gelang Patah. Of the 41 people screened, 21 tested positive.
- Padang Hijau – a detention centre cluster in Kluang. The first few cases were detected today after a targeted screening of detainees at a transit centre. Some 17 people have been screened, of which 12 tested positive.
Sarawak
- Jalan Maju – a workplace cluster in Sibu. The index case was detected on March 27 after a screening of symptomatic individuals. Of the 80 people screened, 34 tested positive.
Kedah
- Taman Peruda – a community cluster in Kuala Muda. The index case was detected on April 2 after a screening of symptomatic individuals. Some 37 people have been screened, of which 16 tested positive.
Terengganu
- Kampung Belaoh – a community cluster in Besut. The index case was detected on April 4 after a screening of symptomatic individuals. Of the 81 people screened, six tested positive.
Sabah
- Belacon – a religious activity cluster involving Lahad Datu and Tawau. The index case was detected on April 5 after a screening of symptomatic individuals. Some 196 people have been screened, of which 17 tested positive.
