Negeri Sembilan, Perak, Kedah to go under RMCO

The three states were previously under the conditional movement control order.

Ismail Sabri Yaakob says interstate travel is still not allowed except for tourism purposes between RMCO states.
PETALING JAYA:
Senior minister for security Ismail Sabri Yaakob said Negeri Sembilan, Perak and Kedah will now go under a recovery movement control order (RMCO) from March 19 until March 31.

This applies to all districts except for Kuala Muda and Kulim in Kedah, and Seremban in Negeri Sembilan, all of which are still red zones.

The three states were previously under the conditional movement control order (CMCO) which is set to end on March 18.

Meanwhile, Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, Johor, Penang and Kelantan will remain under CMCO until March 31, while Sarawak will remain under CMCO until March 29.

Also, Perlis, Melaka, Pahang, Terengganu, Sabah, Putrajaya and Labuan will remain under RMCO until March 31.

This applies to all districts except for Nabawan in Sabah, which will remain under MCO for another two weeks.

He added that interstate travel is still not allowed except for tourism purposes between RMCO states.

Meanwhile, inter-district travel has been allowed for all states, except Sabah and Sarawak.
