In a statement today, MACC said Natrah had come to the agency’s branch in Segamat, Johor, earlier today for an interview about an alleged offer made by two individuals who tried to persuade her to leave the party.
“During the meeting, YB Natrah confirmed that there was no offer of a RM10 million bribe as alleged in the Facebook account under the name Ops Johor,” the MACC statement said. “MACC will continue to investigate this issue with several witnesses,” it added.
Earlier today, Natrah said she lodged a report with MACC after she was told to give evidence of attempted bribery to jump ship.
The report is against two individuals, including one “Datuk Seri,” who promised her benefits if she supported Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin.
Earlier this week, PKR president Anwar Ibrahim said his party members have been offered “millions” to defect. His statement came in the wake of two MPs from his party — Julau MP Larry Sng and Tebrau MP Steven Choong — leaving PKR and declaring their support for the prime minister.
