PUTRAJAYA:
The Malaysian Examination Board (LPM) today clarified that there will be no changes to this year’s Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) examination format.

In a statement today, LPM said a newspaper report on purported changes to the format of future SPM examinations is also not true and that the board had never issued any directive on the matter.

It said that the report, which was published in a Malay-language daily, had caused a lot of confusion among the public, and especially to students who are sitting for the 2020 SPM examinations starting Feb 22.

“If there are any changes to the format of the SPM examination and assessment system, LPM will inform the public officially.”

Yesterday, the daily published a front-page report entitled “Wajah Baru SPM” and had also provided details of the alleged change in format.
