Man feels pain while cleaning kitchen, realises he was shot

Police said the shooting occurred at a restaurant in Taman Tun Dr Ismail today.

The 69-year-old victim noticed a small piece of metal near his feet before going to seek medical treatment at a private clinic.

A shooting occurred at a restaurant on Jalan Aminuddin Baki in Taman Tun Dr Ismail, Kuala Lumpur today, although the 69-year-old male victim did not realise it until a while later.

In a statement, Brickfields police chief Anuar Omar said the man was cleaning the restaurant’s kitchen at around 12.30pm when he felt a pain at his armpit area, before finding a wound there.

He then noticed a small piece of metal that looked like a bullet near his feet before going to seek medical treatment at a private clinic.
