In a tweet, Zuki said he will be quarantined until Jan 31.
He said the person he came into close contact with tested positive on Jan 22.
“However, this situation will not affect the administration of the civil service as I will carry on with my duties from home,” he said, adding this included chairing and attending meetings.
“The press conference on the emergency which was supposed to be held this evening has to be cancelled.”
This is the second time that Zuki is undergoing home quarantine. He had been advised to do so last October after he attended a meeting where one of the attendees subsequently tested positive for Covid-19.
