GEORGE TOWN: Batu Lanchang assemblyman Ong Ah Teong is to launch subsidised Covid-19 tests for his constituents.
In a Facebook post, he said his office will subsidise RM80 from the initial cost of RM145 for the first 500 constituents to register with them.
The subsidy is exclusive to Batu Lanchang residents and constituents who register at their local service centre via WhatsApp.
Ong said walk-in patients will not be allowed as the testing is by appointment only.
He said tests will be conducted with the help of a private hospital.
