In a statement today, he said PSB is an independent Sarawak-based party and will work with anyone who subscribes to its ideals for a better Sarawak as “we believe in building bridges to unite, not walls to divide”.
“We have been in negotiations with like-minded Sarawak opposition figures to seek common ground for mutual political synergy and cooperation.
“But we have also been publicly ‘advised’ by other opposition members that we are ‘junior partners’ in the opposition front, and labelled and undermined in social media as being ‘pro-GPS’.
“Thus, I wish to assure all Sarawakians, especially our supporters, that PSB does not seek to join GPS but instead wants to replace GPS,” he said.
Wong, who is Bawang Assan assemblyman, said PSB had always treated other opposition members with respect and appreciated their efforts in highlighting the inadequacies and ineptness of GPS as the state government, which is “full of promises but glaringly lacking in action”.

“PSB is for Sarawak and by Sarawakians, united under a common umbrella of bringing change for a new and better Sarawak.”
