
Health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said there were five main clusters originating from the workplace.
They are the Teratai and Damanlela construction site clusters, affecting both Kuala Lumpur and Selangor; the Cergas cluster affecting Negeri Sembilan, Kelantan and Selangor; the Hentian cluster affecting Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya, and Negeri Sembilan; and the Kaya cluster affecting Kuala Lumpur, Negeri Sembilan, Putrajaya, Melaka, Selangor, Johor, Kelantan and Perak.
He said there were no new clusters reported today. Meanwhile, the Bah Layangan cluster in Labuan officially ended today.
There are currently 167 active clusters, of which 83 were workplace clusters.
Noor Hisham said the five main workplace clusters have recorded the highest number of cases since the start of the pandemic in the country.

He said the Teratai cluster, recorded the highest number of cases today with 1,511 new cases. This pushes its total to 4,036 positive cases, involving a total of 190 Malaysians and 3,846 foreigners.
The Damanlela construction site cluster reported a total of 1,539 positive cases, of which 1,502 were foreigners.
The Cergas cluster recorded 1,337 cases so far, of which 1,069 involved foreigners.
The Hentian cluster reported a total of 1,101 cases with 886 of the patients being foreigners and 215 Malaysians.
Meanwhile, the Kaya cluster, with a total of 900 cases, saw more Malaysians testing positive (503) compared with foreigners (397).
Other clusters that recorded a high number of cases in the last 24 hours are the Tembok cluster with 103 new cases and the Bintang cluster with 69.
Noor Hisham added that a total of 12,079 positive cases have been reported so far from all 119 workplace clusters. Of these cases, 4,398 are Malaysians and 7,681 are foreigners.
However, he pointed out that 36 of the 119 workplace clusters have officially ended, leaving 83 still active.
