
The party’s secretary-general Loretto Padua Jr said Manis Muka’s passing was a great loss for the party.
He said Manis Muka always helped everyone regardless of their political beliefs and affiliations.
“I hope her family can stay strong in these trying times. The people of Bugaya have lost a great leader,” he told FMT.
Meanwhile, Warisan vice-president Junz Wong said Manis Muka, one of the party’s founding members, was a genuine person and loyal to the Sabahan cause.
Earlier today, it was reported that Manis Muka, 65, died after being admitted to the ICU of a private hospital here.
It is understood that she had been suffering from kidney problems.
In the recent Sabah election, Manis Muka defended her Bugaya seat, winning with a 6,005-vote majority in a seven-cornered fight.
