
The employee, who had been in the office until last Friday (Oct 2), is currently receiving treatment at a hospital.
All employees based at the headquarters have been asked to work from home until further notice.
In a statement, Sime Darby Property said it is undertaking a detailed contact tracing exercise to identify employees who had been in close contact with the affected individual.
Those who have been in close contact with the affected staff member have been advised to immediately self-quarantine and seek medical assistance if they display any symptoms.
“The health and safety of our employees and stakeholders are paramount, and we will continue to monitor the situation vigilantly,” it said.
