KUALA LUMPUR: DRB-Hicom Bhd has appointed former president and group CEO of Petronas Wan Zulkiflee Wan Ariffin as chairman effective Sept 1 this year.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, DRB-Hicom said Wan Zulkiflee will be replacing current chairman Mohammad Zainal Shaari who will step down on Aug 31 due to other business commitments.
Wan Zulkiflee has been an independent director of the company since Aug 1.
He is also non-executive group chairman of Malaysia Airlines Bhd and Malaysia Aviation Group Bhd.
