
In a statement, the party announced its three new vice-presidents are federal ministers Ronald Kiandee and Radzi Jidin as well as Melaka PPBM strongman Mohd Rafiq Naizamohideen.
The chairman’s post was not contested after former PPBM chairman Dr Mahathir Mohamad was axed by the party.
There were no contenders for the president and deputy president’s position, meaning the top post is retained by Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin, while Perak Menteri Besar Ahmad Faizal Azumu won the deputy’s post uncontested.
Redzuan was among the 169 candidates for vice-president. Another big name who lost out is Johor PPBM chairman Mazlan Bujang.
Redzuan was one of the earliest members of the party and served on its supreme council.
PPBM also announced its new supreme council line-up, which includes Deputy Defence Minister Ikmal Hisham Abdul Aziz, Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Mustapa Mohamed, Sabah PPBM strategic director Lajim Ukin, PTPTN chairman Wan Saiful Wan Jan, Deputy Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Minister Rosol Wahid, Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Shabudin Yahaya and former Johor menteri besar Dr Sahruddin Jamal.
A total of 23,438 delegates from 177 divisions voted in the party elections.
