PETALING JAYA:
Selangor CID chief Fadzil Ahmat said they had so far arrested 11 suspects, including one Bangladeshi, in connection with investigations into the kidnap-murder of a businessman with a “Datuk Seri” title.

Fadzil said investigators had not ruled out the possibility that the kidnap-murder could be due to debts or related to business.

He said the case was being investigated under Section 3(3) of the Kidnapping Act and Section 302 of the Penal Code. The autopsy report has yet to be completed.

The victim was reportedly kidnapped while jogging at a playground on Jalan Persiaran Perdana, Bandar Sri Damansara, Petaling Jaya, about 10.30am on June 10.

His body was found about 9am on June 27 following the arrest of several suspects in the case.
