PETALING JAYA: The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) has appointed Ahmad Khusairi Yahaya as the new deputy chief commissioner, effective April 15.
He replaces Azam Baki, who succeeded Latheefa Koya as the anti-graft agency’s chief commissioner on March 9.
Khusairi started as an officer in the agency in 1992 before becoming the policy, planning and research division director and Kuala Lumpur MACC director.

Johor MACC chief Norazlan Mohd Razali was also appointed the agency’s new investigation division director, replacing Khusairi.
Norazlan had previously headed the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Academy and the Federal Land Development Authority’s (Felda) integrity unit.
