SEREMBAN: Police nabbed 25 people, including the driver of an express bus, in an operation dubbed “Op Covid-19” along Jalan Yam Tuan here yesterday.
District police chief Mohd Said Ibrahim said the bus was stopped during a roadblock at 10.30am.
“A total of 25 people were arrested, including the driver, attendant and passengers, comprising three local men and 22 Indonesians (including five women) for defying the movement control order (MCO).
“All those detained were aged between 19 and 66. They have been remanded for two days from today for further investigations,” he said in a statement.
