“Today, Rosli Dahlan, a lawyer who is also a board member of UDA Holdings Berhad and who has fully recovered from Covid-19, paid me a visit,” he wrote in a Facebook posting.

Muhyiddin said Rosli, who is also a trustee of the NAMA Foundation, had met him to personally hand over a RM150,000 contribution on behalf of the foundation.

He said in early March, UDA was one of the government-linked companies hardest hit by the pandemic after several members of its top management contracted the virus.

“They were quarantined in hospital, with a majority of them placed at the Sungai Buloh Hospital, a hospital specifically catered to treat infectious diseases,” he said.

He said UDA was generous enough to upgrade several quarantine wards in several other hospitals as well, as preparations to face the possibility of a spike in cases in mid-April.

“I was made to understand that there were also recovered UDA staff who helped out in the blood plasma project, and if proven successful, they will become saviours.

“If the whole world can unite to fight Covid-19, I hope Malaysians can also do the same,” he said.
