In a brief statement, the Prime Minister’s Office also said Muhyiddin will present names of his Cabinet members to the Yang di-Pertuan Agong at 11am.
Muhyiddin was sworn in as the eighth prime minister on March 1 after a week of political turmoil following the collapse of the Pakatan Harapan government.
His coalition comprises PPBM, Barisan Nasional (BN), PAS and GPS.
Although a list of his purported line-up has been making the rounds on social media, his Cabinet is expected to include representatives from his party, BN and PAS, with the possibility of GPS, the ruling coalition in Sarawak.
GPS had agreed on Saturday to accept Muhyiddin’s invitation to be part of the Cabinet.
The Warisan-led Sabah government meanwhile said it would continue to support former prime minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad but would cooperate with Muhyiddin’s government.
