SEREMBAN: The Darjah Setia Bakti Negeri Sembilan (DBNS), which carries the title “Datuk”, conferred on Ritz Corporate Holding Berhad managing director Ibrahim Yahaya on Jan 14 has been withdrawn with immediate effect.
The decision was made at a special meeting on the conferment of Negeri Sembilan state awards at Istana Besar Seri Menanti in Kuala Pilah on Wednesday, its registrar Dr Razali Ab Malik said in a statement today.
“The decision is aimed at preserving the dignity and honour of the Negeri Sembilan royal institution,” he said.
Yesterday, the office of Yang di-Pertuan Besar Negeri Sembilan Tuanku Muhriz Ibni Almarhum Tuanku Munawir refuted a claim by the company that he is their patron.
