The tickets must be issued on or before Jan 7.
In a statement today, the airline said the change is applicable for passengers travelling to and from Sydney, Perth, Melbourne, Adelaide and Brisbane.
It added that passengers could only change the dates of their flights, but not their destinations, and the changes would be subject to seat availability.
The new travel dates should not be more than six months from the original departure dates, and all details of the original tickets must be shown on the new tickets, including the fare basis and fare calculation.
Malindo Air said the fee for changing dates and the fare difference would be waived. All changes must be made prior to the original departure dates.
The airline had issued the travel advisory following the unprecedented bushfires that continue to ravage Southeast Australia.
