The Johor Bahru MP told reporters at Parliament that he had lodged a police report on the matter.
“I do not want to suspect anyone, and I’m leaving it up to the police to investigate.
“The politics of threats should not be happening nowadays,” he said.
The note was left along with the carcass of a chicken at Akmal’s service centre which was also splashed with red paint.
Separately, Lembah Pantai MP Fahmi Fadzil said the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission’s (MACC) admitted blunder in advising PKR to sack two of its members did not negate the content of the report.
“The party has to be firm in combating corruption,” he said, referring to the dismissal of Bera PKR division leader Zakaria Abdul Hamid and ordinary member Ismail Dulhadi, who were expelled following an MACC investigation into allegations of corruption against them.
“MACC can help ensure that all political parties are free from corruption.”
