Projek Lintasan Damansara-Shah Alam (Prolintas), the highway concessionaire, said these will be erected in stages as the work progresses and the stretches had been identified.
In a statement, it said this was among measures planned to deal with complaints from residents, especially by those staying at the Damansara Perdana Metropolitan Square condominium.
Prolintas said it would monitor the environmental impact assessment (EIA) requirements to ensure the wellbeing of all stakeholders.
“All parameters such as noise level, air and water quality will be carried out regularly until completion,” it said in the statement.
It also said that DASH had installed a countdown timer at the main traffic light at Jalan PJU8/1 and has allowed traffic to make a right turn into the LDP/SPRINT highways from PJU7/1, Mutiara Damansara, to ease traffic congestion.
“During the morning and evening peak hours, traffic police will be on standby to manage the traffic, especially at the Jalan PJU7/9 traffic light junction.”
Prolintas said it is carrying out some of the work late at night to reduce traffic congestion.
It hoped to complete work on the DASH highway in the second quarter of 2020.
Earlier this week, residents at the Damansara Perdana Metropolitan Square condominium complained about the late-night work, close proximity to the highway and traffic congestion caused by the construction of the highway.
The residents complained that they have been having sleepless nights for the past two years because of the construction work.
DASH is a 20km three-lane dual carriageway that will commence from Puncak Perdana U10, Shah Alam, and serve as a link for Puncak Perdana, Alam Suria, Denai Alam, Kampung Melayu Subang, Jalan Sungai Buloh, RRIM, Kota Damansara, Damansara Perdana and Mutiara Damansara.
It will end at the Penchala interchange, linking road users to the LDP and SPRINT highways. Twelve interchanges will be built along the way.
The proposed expressway is expected to support rapid developments along the alignment covering Puncak Perdana U10, Shah Alam, Subang, Kota Damansara and Damansara areas.
