PETALING JAYA:
A superyacht linked to fugitive financier Low Taek Jho (Jho Low) is reported to be on sale again, more than a year after the Genting group bought it from the Malaysian government for US$126 million (RM523 million).

Media reports said the 91m-long yacht, renamed Tranquility by Genting, had been listed for sale at the yacht brokers Camper & Nicholsons. It was not clear when Genting put the yacht up for sale.

It is shown at the C&N website as available at an unspecified price, available on application, while media reports quoted an asking price of US$200 million. It is also listed at C&N as available for charter at 1.1 million euros (RM5.14 million) per week.

The yacht was formerly known as Equanimity and came to prominence after news that it was owned by Jho Low, who is wanted for questioning in the 1MDB scandal.

Tranquility made headlines in August on reports that model and socialite Kylie Jenner had rented it to celebrate her 22nd birthday.
