KUALA LUMPUR: The government’s move to encourage low-cost carriers to allow more Malaysians to enjoy cheaper air fares will be among topics to be raised by MPs in the Dewan Rakyat today.

Wong Hon Wai (PH-Bukit Bendera) is expected to bring the matter to the transport ministry.

Ibrahim Man (PAS-Kubang Kerian) will seek clarification from the economic affairs ministry on the current state of poverty in Malaysia.

Wee Ka Siong (BN-Ayer Hitam) has asked the same ministry on the breakdown of total government assets sold.

MPs will later debate on the Supply Bill 2020 for the 2020 Budget which is in its third day of debate.
