
The allocation will also strengthen the unity among the races and religions in the state, Chief Minister Abang Johari Openg said.
Speaking at a presentation of contributions to the unit here yesterday, Abang Johari said the state government is committed to taking care of the needs and development of other religions.
As a Muslim, he said he holds strongly to the teachings of Prophet Muhammad to be fair to all religions.
“Leaders must be fair to both Muslims and non-Muslims. The society can live more peacefully and harmoniously by practising their own religious beliefs,” he said.
Unifor, which was established in 2017, received RM15 million that year and RM20 million last year.
