
The event is the first between Tourism Malaysia and the Marvel comics brand in line with the Visit Truly Asia Malaysia 2020 campaign.
Participants in the run competed in four categories: 800 metre and 1.2 kilometre dash for children; 5km run (non-competitive) and the 10km run, which was flagged off by Tourism Malaysia director-general Musa Yusof.
He said the organisers, including Disney Digital Network, would disseminate publicity material for the Visit Malaysia year, which has a target of attracting 30 million international tourists and RM100 billion in tourism receipts.
The event attracted runners from all ages from Malaysia, as well as international participants including from Australia, Germany, the United Kingdom, Ecuador and Singapore.
