Parents confirm body is Nora

The body of the 15-year-old teen who went missing from the Dusun Resort in Nilai was found today after a frantic search involving multiple agencies.

The parents of missing Irish teenager Nora Anne Quoirin have confirmed that the body found today is their daughter.

They identified the body at Hospital Tuanku Jaafar here tonight, said Negeri Sembilan police chief Mohamad Mat Yusop.

He said a post-mortem will be carried out at the hospital at 10am tomorrow by a senior pathologist from Kuala Lumpur.

Bernama reported that the body was flown by helicopter from where it was found this afternoon to the King George V School field here at 6.45pm and brought to the hospital in a Civil Defence Force van escorted by police cars and outriders.

Nora Anne’s family arrived at the hospital’s Forensics Department at 8.40pm.

The nude body was found at 1.57pm near a stream located about 2.5km from the Dusun Resort in Nilai, where the family had checked in on Aug 3.

The 15-year-old teenager was found missing from her room at 8am the next day.
