
“Police are independent in this investigation. We won’t take years to solve the case. That will be problematic.
“We cannot predict and speculate. Just wait for the report to come out. After that, the case will be referred to the Attorney-General’s Chambers,” he told reporters in the Parliament lobby today.
A few weeks ago, several video clips featuring two men engaging in homosexual acts went viral, followed by the confession of Santubong PKR Youth chief Haziq Aziz that he was one of the two men in the video.
Haziq, who has since been sacked from both PKR and his government post, also named Economic Affairs Minister Mohamed Azmin Ali as his sex partner in the video.
Azmin has denied the allegation, saying it was made to tarnish his reputation and destroy his political career.
