SEPANG:
Muhammad Hilman Idham, the political secretary of Economic Affairs Minister Mohamed Azmin Ali, says there is no need for him to record his statement at the Sepang police headquarters in connection with a blackmail allegation as originally scheduled today.

He said he was informed by the police that the statement he recorded at the Putrajaya police headquarters last Friday concerning the individual linked to the viral sex video implicating the minister was sufficient.

Hilman was seen entering the Sepang police headquarters in a grey Proton Perdana at 11.05am. He left five minutes later after addressing the reporters waiting outside the building.

Last Wednesday, Azmin strongly denied allegations linking him to several sex clips which have gone viral online.

He called them part of a plot to assassinate his reputation and an attempt to destroy his political career.
