But Blisson Zainuddin, who is the Sabah PKR deputy youth chief, confirmed that Azmin had stayed at Four Points hotel in Sandakan.

“As far as I know, Azmin stayed at the Four Points Sandakan as scheduled, but I do not know if Azmin and Haziq met,” he told reporters today.

Haziq had named the hotel in his explosive 30-second video confession, in which he also identified Azmin as the person who was with him in several video clips making the rounds on social media.

Yesterday, he said that the sex romp he claimed he had with Azmin – which the PKR deputy president has strongly denied – was not the first.

Haziq said the most recent encounter was at the Four Points hotel.

Blisson also alleged that Haziq — who is Deputy Primary Industries Minister Shamsul Iskandar Mohd Akin’s private secretary — had requested for details on the economic affairs minister’s movements and where he could plan Shamsul’s campaign trail.

Blisson went on to show his WhatsApp conversation with Haziq to reporters.

“If it is indeed true he had a relationship (with Azmin) prior to the Sandakan by-election, why was he demanding details from me (on Azmin’s movements)?

“If they were intimate, he would have contacted (Azmin),” he said.

Police are currently investigating the matter.
