
Selangor Criminal Investigation Department chief Fadzil Ahmat said the suspect, a Nigerian man named Aliwajuwon Gilbertalowanle, was arrested at 3pm in the vicinity of Cheras Sentral here.
He also confirmed to Bernama that the suspect tried to attack police when they wanted to arrest him.
“Yes, there was a struggle between the police and the suspect when we wanted to arrest him.
“The suspect will be remanded tomorrow,” he added.
Earlier, police arrested a 35-year-old Nigerian woman and a 38-year-old Pakistani man in Kuala Lumpur this morning to facilitate investigations into the murder of Siti Kharina.
Siti Kharina, 40, was found murdered at a rented condominium unit in Cyberjaya by the unit’s landlord yesterday. She had slash wounds on her chest, neck and head.
On Sunday, the Serdang Hospital management had confirmed that Siti Kharina, who was reported missing earlier, was last seen at the hospital’s parking area on May 8.
She was seen driving a white Honda City car.
