KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) has opened an investigation into a Facebook post of an image insulting the Yang di-Pertuan Agong.

MCMC said the probe is based on a report from the public urging for immediate action against those responsible.

“The police are also conducting an investigation. We are coordinating the investigations and sharing information,” it said.
