The EC, which lodged the report at the Sungai Koyan police station, said Manogaran had violated the Election Offences Act 1954.
Manogaran lost to Barisan Nasional’s Ramli Mohd Nor by more than 3,000 votes.
Manogaran was spotted wearing the party shirt at the polling station at Sekolah Kebangsaan Sendurut in Cameron Highlands.
This prompted electoral watchdog Bersih 2.0 to urge the EC to lodge a police report against him.
Meanwhile, the EC said it also lodged three police reports over the setting up of “pondok panas”, or party stands, at nine polling stations in Jelai.
“We will not compromise with those who break the law or election regulations,” it said.
