KUALA LUMPUR:
Another minister has come out to say he has no assets to declare to the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC).

Tourism and Culture Minister Mohamaddin Ketapi, describing himself as a “poor man”, said he does even own any properties or vehicles.

“What to declare when I have nothing,” the Warisan MP told reporters outside Parliament today.

Earlier, Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department P Waytha Moorthy said he had nothing to state in his asset declaration form to MACC.

The Hindraf leader said his money had been spent towards “fighting for the rights of the Indians”.

Mohamaddin is among government leaders who have yet to declare his assets.

He said today he would only declare assets “if I have any”.
