
“We cannot estimate how many more will be arrested because it depends on the investigation,” he told reporters here after presenting the “Jasa Pahlawan Negara” medal to 414 police officers and personnel from the Sabah police contingent.
He said the situation at the temple was under control, with police officers and personnel from the General Operations Force and Federal Reserve Unit stationed there to monitor the area.
He also advised the people to be responsible when disseminating information through social media.
“The problem is when a video which is not related at all is made viral and linked to the temple incident. There have also been statements from certain quarters, in the country and abroad, which have caused uneasiness.
“I hope all quarters will be responsible and not make the situation worse,” he said.
