The extension, which begins today until Nov 26, was issued against the 31-year-old suspect by Magistrate Mohamad Firdaus Sadina Ali.
The court also extended the remand on the suspect’s wife, aged 20, for three days beginning tomorrow in connection with the same case.
The investigation against the couple was made under Section 302 of the Penal Code, which provides the mandatory death sentence upon conviction.
The couple was alleged to have sent the victim, who was then unconscious, to Ampang Hospital last Nov 8 and then fled after being informed about the boy’s death.
“Boy Tiger” was arrested last Nov 12 at the Kajang Hospital when he went to visit his wife who was receiving treatment after giving birth to a baby boy.
