This comes in the wake of the postponement of the mall’s highly-anticipated annual general meeting today.
Speaking to FMT after lodging a police report at the Ampang police station on the incident, Zara Davies, 52, said the incident happened at 2.45pm today at the mall.

She said an unidentified woman started to take pictures of her while she was talking to a member of the mall’s management.
“I moved away and took out my camera to take pictures of her. That is when she walked towards me, pushed away my hand and punched me in my right eye.”
She said she was told by mall staff that the woman was related to a member of the mall’s management.
“I believe they are unhappy that I have been appointed as a proxy for the mall’s AGM, which was supposed to be held today but cancelled without reason.”
Yesterday, it was reported that some unit owners at the Galaxy Ampang Mall were seeking to remove the current joint management body (JMB) and management company of the shopping mall.
This followed allegations of mismanagement and complaints that their investment in the complex had been in vain.
A showdown was expected between the current JMB members and unit owners at the AGM.
