KUALA LUMPUR: Police have detained two of the three men who were believed to be involved in killing a cat by putting the animal in a dryer at a laundrette in Gombak.
Gombak police chief Samsor Maarof said the two men, aged 26 and 40, were detained following a tip-off from the public.
“However, another man who is still at large, is being tracked by the police,” he said, adding that the duo would be remanded for four days.
A CCTV recording lasting 2 minutes and 50 seconds showed two men putting a pregnant cat into the clothes drying machine at about midnight.
