JOHOR BAHRU: The Johor menteri besar’s office has refuted allegations that one of its officers abused his powers, including by acting as a broker for government-linked projects.
In a statement yesterday, it said the individual accused in several Facebook posts of claiming he could “arrange government contracts” was not a special officer to Johor Menteri Besar Osman Sapian.
It said the Johor menteri besar’s office took a serious view of the matter and urged the public to be wary of individuals claiming they could broker government projects.
