
KUALA LUMPUR: Former deputy rural and regional development minister Zainal Abidin Osman died today from cancer of the blood, also known as multiple myeloma.
According to his older brother Omar Osman, Zainal Abidin, 58, died at Ampang Hospital here at 2.07am.
“His remains will be taken to Penang for burial after the Asar prayer at the cemetery at Masjid Sungai Acheh, Nibong Tebal.
“Read him the al-Fatihah and I, on behalf of his family, seek forgiveness if he did anything wrong to anyone,” Omar said in a social media post today.
